Where can you play WPT Global? The Excluded Territories list, in full
Where can you play WPT Global?
There is one place worth reading on this question, and it is not a comparison site: WPT Global names the places it will not serve in section 2.5 of its Terms and Conditions. This page puts that list in front of you — all 83entries, in the operator’s own order — along with the caveats the operator attaches to it. Those caveats matter as much as the names: the operator says the list is not exhaustive and can change at any time, so it tells you where you certainly cannot play, not where you certainly can.
The territories WPT Global does not serve
WPT Global answers this question in one place: section 2.5 of its Terms and Conditions. Everything below is that section — the operator's categories, the operator's caveats and the operator's list, in the operator's own order.
Read these three lines before you read the list
- The operator writes that the list “may be amended at any time at our sole discretion if the classification and circumstances of the category criteria change.”
- The operator writes that the list “is not exhaustive, and it may not include all countries in which we do not allow players to register.” A territory being absent from it is therefore not a confirmation that you may register.
- The operator writes that it is your duty to check the agreement regularly for changes to this list — which also means that a copy on any third-party site, this one included, can only ever be a snapshot.

Two things are worth noticing about how the list is written, because they change how you read it. First, it mixes countries with sub-national territories: Alberta, New Brunswick and Ontario appear by name while Canada does not, and Northern Ireland appears alongside the United Kingdom of Great Britain. Second, the United States of America appears as a whole, and so do American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, the United States Minor Outlying Islands and the Virgin Islands. We are not going to read an entitlement out of either pattern for you: whether an account can be opened is decided by WPT Global at registration and verification, not by this page.
This site is an information portal — no login, no deposits, no games — and it does not decide who may open an account. Read the current Terms and Conditions before you register, and check the law that applies where you live. 18+. Gambling can be addictive; please play responsibly.
Once the operator has accepted you, this is what follows
Country availability is the first gate, and only WPT Global can actually close it. If it does, the download and install guide gets the client onto your machine, and the welcome offer breakdown is worth reading before your first deposit rather than after it.
Country availability, the questions people actually ask
Yes. Section 2.5 of the Terms and Conditions names four categories — jurisdictions classified as high-risk or monitored by financial regulators, countries where online gambling is strictly prohibited, countries blacklisted or classed as critical or high risk by the operator's service providers, and a miscellaneous category — and then publishes a list of Excluded Territories under them. That list is reproduced on this page in full and in the operator's own order.
Not necessarily, and the operator says so itself: the list “is not exhaustive, and it may not include all countries in which we do not allow players to register.” Absence from the list is not permission. Eligibility is settled when you register and complete verification, and it is settled by WPT Global — not by this page, and not by any third-party site.
Because the list is written territory by territory rather than country by country. Alberta, New Brunswick and Ontario are named individually and Canada as a whole is not. The same pattern shows up in Europe, where Northern Ireland is listed alongside the United Kingdom of Great Britain. That is a description of how the list is written; what it implies for any particular address is a question for WPT Global, not for us.
That is a bad idea, and the terms cover it. Section 13.1 asks you to warrant that you are not located in any of the jurisdictions described in section 2.5.2, and elsewhere the terms let the operator withhold funds and void winnings where the agreement is breached. The terms also let the operator require documents that confirm your registration details at any time, so a location that does not match what you registered is not a problem you get to keep quiet about.
The operator does not publish a schedule. What it does say is that the list may be amended at any time at its sole discretion, and that checking the agreement for changes is your responsibility. Treat any copy of it — including this one — as a snapshot rather than a live feed, and open the official terms before you act on it.
