1. AA (200/1) — when the deck finally decides to cooperate, you can almost feel it coming. As WPT legend Vince Van Patten would put it, it's time to break out your weapon of mass destruction. Bet that the next hand brings two aces and, if you nail it, you pocket 200 times your stake. Even if that pair of aces never takes down the pot, the bet still pays.
2. Any pair (16/1) — sure, AA is the dream, but any pocket pair is plenty to keep playing a hand in a cash game. Bet that the next hand comes with a pair of any kind — AA, 22 or anything in between — and collect 16 times your stake.
3. A (6.5/1) — in a cash game, picking up an ace is usually a green light to sit firm and raise. It doesn't matter whether you catch an offsuit A-2 or a gorgeous pair of aces: just having one ace in your hand pays 6.5 times your stake. And even if nothing develops and you'd rather fold pre-flop, the prize still stands.
4. A or K (3.3/1) — feeling confident you can build a strong hand? Bet on being dealt an ace or a king and, if either one shows up, the reward is 3.3 times your stake. You might ultimately decide the hand isn't worth playing, but the bet pays out all the same.
5. No A / K / pair (1.4/1) — nothing but garbage in front of you? Been so long since a playable hand that you're itching to force the action? Keep your cool, muck the junk, and use the moment to bet that you won't be dealt an ace, a king or any pair. If it works out, the payout is 1.4 times your stake.
How to use Hole Card Betting
After each hand, you pick a wager on the hole cards for the next hand. Get it right and you collect the matching prize. Caught two aces on the following deal? Then the payout is 200 times your stake.
With the bet locked in, all that's left is to wait: the game then reveals your hole cards for the next hand.
