- Win the hand with Quads or better
- The reward is paid out based on how strong your hand is:
- Making a royal flush pays 20% of the corresponding Jackpot pool
- Making a straight flush pays 10%
- Making the highest four of a kind pays 2%
- You don't need to reach showdown
Bad Beat Jackpot
- Both players must use both of their hole cards
- Lose the hand with Quads or better
- The player who loses the hand collects 50% of the corresponding Jackpot pool
- The hand must go to showdown
Because the Jackpot is never wiped out all at once, there's always money building up in the pool. Every time a player wins a hand worth 20 big blinds or more, 1 big blind is added to the Jackpot pool. Each buy-in level at the No-Limit Texas Hold'em cash game tables has its own pool, and both Jackpots are paid out of that same pool.
When your hand meets the trigger condition (Quads, straight flush, or royal flush), the corresponding Jackpot is paid automatically and lands instantly right at the table.
